Kota Tangerang – Sejumlah Pejabat Tinggi di Kota Tangerang dari mulai Wali Kota, Kapolres dan juga Pimpinan DPRD memastikan pelaksanaan Jum’at Agung serta peringatan Hari Raya Paskah yang jatuh pada minggu ini berjalan dengan aman dan lancar.
Wali Kota Tangerang Arief R. Wismansyah mengatakan peringatan peribadatan dan hari besar umat Kristiani dapat berjalan dengan kondusif dan tentunya dengan tetap mematuhi aturan protokol kesehatan.
“Kami lakukan monitoring terkait keamanan serta penerapan protokol kesehatan sebagai pencegahan Covid-19, sejauh ini pelaksanaannya berjalan dengan lancar,” ungkap Arief saat meninjau di Gereja Santo Agustinus, Cibodas, Jumat 2 April 2021.
Arief menambahkan bahwa dirinya bersama jajaran juga mengapresiasi kesiapan para pengelola tempat ibadah dalam memfasilitasi kegiatan peribadatan di tengah pandemi bagi para jemaat.
“Protokol kesehatannya sudah bagus, mulai dari cek suhu, tempat cuci tangan dan diberi tanda jarak, sebagian jamaat juga hadir secara daring. Semoga semua bisa melakukan ibadahnya dengan khidmat, aman dan kondusif,” ucap Arief.
Sementara itu Wakil Ketua DPRD Kota Tangerang, Turidi Susanto, berharap daerah yang memiliki jargon religius ini tetap kondusif dan aman bagi semua anak bangsa yang melaksanakan setiap ibadah maupun hari besarnya. Sebab menurutnya, diantara semua anak bangsa, persatuan dan kesatuan harus tetap dijaga.
“Apalagi Kota Tangerang adalah kota Akhlaqul Kharimah, artinya akhlaq mulia, saling mengasihi dan menyayangi sesama umat beragama,” ujar Turidi.
Selain Wali Kota dan Wakil DPRD, peninjauan tersebut juga dihadiri oleh jajaran aparat keamanan, diantaranya Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota Deonijiu De Fatima, Kasatpol PP Agus Henra Fitriyana, Kesbangpol dan juga TNI.
Dalam kesempatan ini, ada dua tempat ibadah yang ditinjau langsung oleh sejumlah pejabat tinggi di Kota Tangerang, yakni Gereja Katolik Hati Santa Perawan Maria Tak Bernoda dan Gereja Santo Agustinus di Kecamatan Cibodas, Kota Tangerang.
