Jakarta – Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) meminta pemerintah memaksimalkan waktu yang ada selama perpanjangan PPKM sampai 16 Agustus 2021 untuk mengendalikan dampak pandemi covid-19.

“Kami berharap dan meminta dengan sungguh-sungguh kepada pemerintah untuk memaksimalkan upaya pengendalian dampak pandemi Covid-19 sehingga per 16 Agustus nanti tidak diperpanjang lagi,” kata Plt Ketua Umum DPP PSI, Giring Ganesha, Selasa 10 Agustus 2021.

Masa PPKM level 4 di Jawa dan Bali harus dimaksimalkan, terutama untuk mempercepat vaksinasi. Jika program vaksinasi tidak dipercepat, akan ada kerugian ganda yaitu terlambatnya tercapai herd immunity dan ekonomi menengah bawah yang terimbas karena berkurangnya mobilitas akibat PPKM.

“PSI sadar perpanjangan PPKM ini adalah pil pahit yang harus kita telan menghambat kenaikan wabah. Namun, PSI mendesak pemerintah melakukan kerja lebih keras, koordinasi lebih ketat, dan upaya-upaya lain yang berorientasi hasil,” tegas Giring.

Ia menambahkan perpanjangan terus menerus juga membuat kondisi dunia usaha tidak stabil. Perlu ada kejelasan kapan PPKM berakhir.

“Pengusaha terutama UMKM dan masyarakat yang bergantung dengan pendapatan harian sangat berharap ada sinyal kuat kapan PPKM ini berakhir. Perlu upaya penjelasan prasyarat PPKM diakhiri sehingga pelaku usaha UMKM dan pekerja berpendapatan harian punya gambaran,” kata Giring.

Di samping meminta agar pemerintah memaksimalkan kerjanya terkait percepatan vaksinasi, PSI juga mendorong agar program bansos dan pencairan tunjangan nakes di daerah segera terlaksana dengan rapi dan taat administrasi serta prokes.

“Bansos harus segera didistribusikan ke masyarakat. Yang berupa barang atau uang agar masyarakat mendapat bahan makan dan uang untuk dipergunakan selama masa PPKM. Harus tetap taat administrasi dan saat pembagian jangan menimbulkan kerumunan yang mengakibatkan cluster baru,” jelas Calon Presiden RI 2024 ini

Giring menjelaskan dirinnya sudah meminta seluruh kader, struktur dan anggota legislatif PSI di seluruh Indonesia untuk untuk banyak turun ke lapangan dan fokus pada tiga hal, percepatan vaksinasi, mengawal bansos, dan mendesak pencairan insentif nakes di daerah masing-masing.

“Masa pandemi ini, saya sudah arahkan supaya seluruh kader hadir dan kerja untuk rakyat, bahwa PSI ada bersama masyarakat di saat kondisi negara penuh tantangan karena pandemi,’ pungkas Giring.
