Kota Tangerang – Dewan Perwakilan Cabang (DPC) Gabungan Serikat Buruh Indonesia (GSBI) Kota Tangerang mengutuk keras pernyataan Gubernur Banten Wahidin Halim yang mengundang tindak spontanitas dari kalangan buruh.
Ketua GSBI Kota Tangerang, Dedi Isnanto menilai Gubernur Banten Wahidin Halim dengan sengaja memprovokasi perusahaan-perusahaan untuk melakukan PHK terhadap buruh jika tidak mau menerima upah murah yang di SK-kan untuk tahun 2022.
“Pernyataan bapak Wahidin Halim tersebut secara tidak langsung telah membuka topeng beliau yang anti terhadap kesejahteraan buruh, tetapi peduli terhadap investasi yang sudah begitu banyak mendapatkan kemudahan dan servis dari negara,” kata Dedi Isnanto kepada infomassa, Selasa 28 Desember 2021.
Ia pun menyebutkan bahwa buruh Banten melakukan protes ke Kawasan Pusat Pemerintahan Provinsi Banten (KP3B) untuk meminta klarifikasi atas pernyataan Wahidin Halim yang telah melukai perasaan buruh, namun Gubernur Banten itu tidak menemui masa buruh dan diduga dengan sengaja melakukan pembiaran terhadap buruh untuk bisa merangsak masuk dan menduduki ruang kerja Gubernur.
“Lantas beliau menuduh bahwa tindak kaum buruh tersebut tidak bermoral, brutal, dan masuk tanpa izin yang kemudian diarahkan kepada tindak kriminal yang berbuntut tindak pidana,” ujar Dedi.
Menurutnya, Polda Banten latah merespon curhatan WH dengan memproses hukum terhadap buruh yang masuk ruang kerja Gubernur Banten tanpa izin.
“Keberpihakan Kepolisian Banten dalam merespon curhatan bapak Wahidin Halim dipertontonkan kepada publik melalui media sosial. Seakan kesan yang hendak disampaikan adalah pembungkaman ruang Demokrasi dan teror pembungkaman perjuangan upah,” tutupnya.
