Kota Tangerang – Menjadi mahasiswa dan menjalankan kuliah dengan sungguh-sungguh di STISNU Nusantara Tangerang menjadi salah satu bagian dari mengurus Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Demikian disampaikan Ketua STISNU Dr. H. Muhamad Qustulani kepada mahasiswa barunya.

“mahasiswa wajib menyakini kuliah di STISNU adalah ejawantah khidmah terhadap Nahdlatul Ulama, bagian dari mengurus NU. Sebab sesuai pesan Hadratussyaikh KH. Hasyim Asyaari bahwa mengurusi NU dianggap sebagai santrinya yang didoakan husnul khatimah,” kata Dr. H. Muhamad Qustulani dalam sambutan pembukaan Masa Orientasi Mahasiswa Baru di Kampus Stisnu, Jum’at 15 Oktober 2021.

Dengan adanya kegiatan masa orientasi ini, Ketua Stisnu berharap agar mahasiswa baru dapat lebih mengenal dua program studi dan mendapatkan informasi-informasi yang bermanfaat untuk menunjang proses kegiatan perkuliahan kemudian hari.

“Mahasiswa harus merubah orientasi dan menguatkan niat semata mata hanya untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan, bukan yang lain, seperti hanya mengejar ijazah atau gelar sarjana. Jika niatnya menuntut ilmu akan mendapat 2 (dua) keberuntungan, yaitu ilmu yang bermanfaat dan pahala kebaikan dari belajar. Ketika meninggal pun masuk dalam kategori syahid karena berada di jalan Allah,” ucap Dr. H. Muhamad Qustulani.

KH. Abbad al Hurroby, wakil Ketua Pengurus Wilayah Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Banten dalam sambutannya mengingatkan bahwa kader-kader NU harus cerdas, dan bergelar sarjana. Jangan pernah melihat fisik atau gedungnya, tapi lihatlah bagaimana belajarnya. Tentu di STISNU penuh banyak doa dan keberkahan para masyaikh Nahdlatul Ulama.

“Kalian harus sering sering bangun malam, orang sering bangun malam (tahajjud), insya allah cerdas.” Tegasnya.

Dr. Bahruddin, M.Si Ketua I Yayasan Benteng Nusantara Cendekia Nahdlatul Ulam memberikan nasihat kepada calon Mahasiswa STISNU agar tetap istiqamah dalam berproses ketika sah menjadi mahasiswa. Kemudian ia mengimbau bahwa pentingnya melewati proses dengan baik, dan ketika dalam perjalanan sampai meraih sarjana menemukan kendala, maka mahasiswa tidak diperkenankan berhenti.

“Lewati, prosesnya dengan ikhlas, insya allah gelar sarjana sudah di tangan.” Ujar Dr. Bahruddin.

Masa Orientasi Mahasiswa Baru angkatan 2021 diikuti oleh 130 calon mahasiswa dari dua program studi hukum ekonomi syariah dan hukum keluarga.

Kegiatan ini di hadiri oleh KH. Abbad Al Hurroby, wakil ketua pengurus wilayah Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) Banten, Dr. Bahruddin, Ketua I Yayasan Benteng Nusantara Cendekia Nahdlatul Ulama, dan jajaran dosen STISNU.
