Jakarta – Politikus Partai Gerindra, Fadli Zon, menyatakan rasa ketidakpercayaan atas dugaan terorisme terhadap Munarman yang ditangkap oleh Detasemen Khusus (Densus) 88 pada Selasa 27 Maret 2021 di Pamulang.
Dalam akun twitter resminya, Wakil ketua umum Gerindra itu mengaku sangat dekat dengan mantan Sekretaris FPI tersebut. Sehingga menurutnya, penangkapan dan tuduhan terhadap Munarman dinilai berlebihan.
“Saya mengenal baik Munarman dan saya tidak percaya dengan tuduhan teroris ini. Sungguh mengada-ada dan kurang kerjaan,” cuit Fadli Zon dalam akun twitternya @fadlizon.
Sebelumnya, Munarman ditangkap oleh Densus 88 pada Selasa 27 April 2021 sekitar pukul 15.35 wib di kediamannya, kawasan Modern Hills, Pondok Cabe Udik, Pamulang, Tangerang Selatan.
Kadiv Humas Polri, Irjen Argo Yuwono mengatakan Pentolan FPI itu diduga terlibat dalam gerakan terorisme dan mengendalikan orang lain untuk bermufakat jahat. Selain itu, kata dia, Munarman juga menyimpan kabar yang berkaitan dengan aksi teror.
“Munarman diduga menggerakkan orang lain untuk melakukan tindak pidana terorisme, bermufakat jahat untuk melakukan tindak pidana terorisme dan menyembunyikan informasi tentang tindak pidana terorisme,” kata Argo.
