Jakarta – Ketua Eksekutif Wilayah (EW) Liga Mahasiswa Nasional untuk Demokrasi (LMND) DKI Jakarta Nasir Latupono merasa sangat menyesal atas beredarnya nama ia dalam pesan singkat WhatsApp untuk terlibat dalam mimbar demokrasi yang akan dilakukan di kantor DPP Partai Demokrat.

Pasalnya dalam pesan WhatsApp yang beredar di beberapa sosial media, ada dua oknum yang mengatasnamakan ketua LMND yaitu inisial R dari kampus BSI dan inisial DM dari Magister UI.

Nasir Latupono menyampaikan bahwa tindakan pencatutan itu merupakan sebuah pelanggaran hukum yang dilakukan oleh oknum tidak bertanggung jawab. Ia menegaskan, LMND DKI Jakarta tidak terlibat dalam mimbar demokrasi yang berhubungan dengan dukungan terhadap partai Demokrat kubu AHY sebagaimana yang tercantum dalam pesan WhatsApp.

“Itu adalah pencatutan dan pelanggaran hukum. Dan nama-nama yang tercantum sebagai Ketua LMND itu adalah tidak benar. Tidak ada anggota LMND DKI Jakarta ataupun ketua LMND dengan nama tersebut,” kata Naslat dikutip infomassa.com, Rabu 17 Maret 2021 dari keterangan tertulisnya.

Lebih lanjut, dia mengatakan bahwa LMND organisasi yang independen dan sejauh ini tidak ada keikutsertaan kader atau anggota LMND baik secara organisasional maupun personal dalam pusaran kegaduhan politik elit Demokrat. Ia mengutuk keras atas tindakan yang menyematkan organisasi LMND, Ketua LMND abal-abal ataupun atribut LMND dalam aksi mimbar demokrasi tersebut.

“Tidak ada keikutsertaan LMND baik secara organisasional maupun personal dalam kegiatan tersebut. Saya mengutuk keras tindakan pencatutan itu,” tegas Naslat.

Naslat menjelaskan bahwa tindakan sepihak oleh oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab itu merupakan penghinaan terhadap organisasi LMND. Ia pun menegaskan akan menempuh langkah hukum secara tegas dan struktur untuk membersihkan nama LMND sekaligus akan memberikan efek jera terhadap oknum yang telah berani mencatut nama LMND dan agar tidak ada korban yang sama kembali.

“Perilaku semacam ini adalah penghinaan terhadap organisasi. Kami akan menempuh jalur hukum agar oknum-oknum menerima ganjaran atas tindakan tidak terpujinya,” tegas Naslat.
