Jakarta – Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) dalam dua hari belakangan mengeluarkan cibiran pedas kepada Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia (KPI). Sasarannya pada besaran anggaran tahunan hingga mendorong Pemerintah dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) RI untuk membubarkannya.

Juru bicara DPP PSI, Dara Nasution sangat menyayangkan ketika anggaran sebesar Rp.60 Miliar digelontorkan untuk KPI. Menurutnya, biaya sebanyak itu lebih bermanfaat ketika digunakan Negara untuk menangani pandemi di dalam negeri.

“Anggaran sebesar itu mestinya akan lebih bermanfaat jika dialihkan untuk penanganan pandemi COVID-19 dari pada membiayai KPI,” kata Dara Nasution, dikutip infomassa dari keterangan tertulisnya, Rabu 30 Juni 2021.

Dara menilai, KPI yang selama ini disubsidi Negara melalui dana APBN sangat berbanding terbalik dengan capaian kinerjanya. Untuk itu, kata dia, PSI meminta Pemerintah dan DPR mengkaji ulang keberadaan Lembaga penyiaran Independent tersebut.

Dara menjelaskan, sesuai amanat Undang-Undang nomor 32 tahun 2002 tentang Penyiaran, KPI terdiri atas pengurus Pusat dan Daerah. Kemudian, lanjut dia, pembiayaan program di tingkat Pusat berasal dari APBN dan di Daerah dibiayai APBD masing-masing daerah. Sehingga, anggaran tahunan Rp. 60 miliar untuk pengurus pusat dinilai sangat berlebihan.

“Kalau kita telaah Undang-Undang Penyiaran, Rp60 miliar rupiah dari APBN digunakan untuk program kerja oleh KPI Pusat saja. KPI Daerah sudah ada skema pembiayaan masing-masing, terutama berasal dari APBD,” jelas Dara.

Sebelumnya, Plt. Ketua Umum PSI Giring Ganesha juga mengkritik KPI yang membatasi penyiaran waktu tayang 42 lagu berbahasa Inggris hanya bisa diputar radio selepas jam 22.00 wib.

Atas kebijakan tersebut, PSI meminta Pemerintah dan DPR RI untuk mengambil langkah tegas terhadap KPI.

“Pemerintah dan DPR harus mengevaluasi ulang dan mempertimbangkan untuk membubarkan KPI,” kata Giring, Senin 28 Juni 2021.

Diketahui, PSI juga mengkritik KPI pada tahun 2019 yang berencana hendak menyensor iklan Shopee dan ingin mengawasi isi siaran di platform digital yakni YouTube, Netflix, Facebook, dan lain sebagainya.

Kebijakan itu, menurut PSI sudah di luar kewenangan KPI, sebab pengawasan konten hiburan pada platform digital tidak menjadi tanggung jawabnya. Sementara dalam koridornya sendiri, KPI malah gagal mengawasi kualitas isi siaran televisi dengan menyiarkan acara tidak mendidik sampai ditonton jutaan rakyat setiap hari.
