Jakarta – Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Juru bicara Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Ali Fikri meminta masyarakat untuk tidak melayangkan isu ataupu opini tangkap Harun Masiku yang namanya sudah masuk Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO) di lembaga anti rasuah itu.

Pasalnya, kata Ali Fikri, isu tangkap Harun Masiku hanya membuat polemik yang tak kunjung reda. Ia pun menegaskan kepada masyarakat, apabila dapat menemukan atau mengetahui keberadaan buronan KPK yang menjadi tersangka suap Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) untuk segera melaporkannya kepada aparat hukum.

“Kami minta kepada pihak manapun yang betul-betul mengetahui keberadaannya, agar segera menyampaikannya kepada KPK maupun aparat hukum lain agar segera ditindaklanjuti. Bukan justru melayangkan isu yang berpotensi menjadi polemik dan kontraproduktif dalam upaya penangkapan DPO dimaksud,” kata Ali Fikri, dikutip infomassa dari keterangan tertulisnya, Selasa 3 Agustus 2021.

Ali Fikri mengklaim bahwa KPK sampai sejauh ini masih terus memburu keberadaan Harun Masiku. Pencarian itu, kata dia, dilakukan didalam dan juga di luar negeri.

Diketahui, KPK sudah manjatuhkan Harun Masiku sebagai tersangka pemberi suap kepada Komisioner KPU, Wahyu Setiawan untuk memudahkan politikus PDIP itu berselancar menjadi anggota DPR RI melalui jalur PAW.
