Kota Tangsel – Puluhan Jurnalis yang tergabung dalam Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO) Tangerang Raya menggelar aksi massa di sekitar Pusat Pemerintahan (Puspem) Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) sebagai buntut intimidasi yang dialami Yudi Wibowo, wartawan Kabar6.com.

Ketua IWO Tangerang Raya, Hasan Kurniawan, menjelaskan bahwa aksi yang digelar bukan hanya bentuk solidaritas terhadap sesama profesi wartawan saja. Terlebih, kata dia, sikap arogansi yang dilakukan oleh Kadispora Entol Wiwi Martawijaya terhadap Yudi sudah menciderai dunia Jurnalistik.

Hasan menegaskan, arogansi yang dilakukan oleh Entol Wiwi usai diperiksa Kejari Tangsel beberapa hari lalu jelas merupakan bentuk intimidasi terhadap insan pers.

“Nah intimidasi ini yang kita kecam. Karena bagaimanapun juga intimidasi ini dilakukan di muka umum. Ada saksi dan barang bukti (Video yang beredar),” kata Hasan di Balai Kota Tangsel, Kamis 24 Juni 2021.

Dalam aksinya, IWO menuntut agar Kadispora Entol Wiwi segera dicopot dari jabatannya.

Hasan pun menambahkan, untuk memperkuat tuntutan IWO, pihaknya segera melakukan komunikasi dengan Wali Kota Tangsel.

“Kita akan kembali mendesak Benyamin Davnie untuk menyatakan sikapnya bersama kami. Karena tindakan arogansi ini jelas suatu bentuk pembangkangan terhadap pembangunan komite di Tangsel ini sendiri,” tutur Hasan.

Aksi IWO mendapat respon dari Assisten Daerah (Asda) 3, Sukanta, sebagai perwakilan Pemkot Tangsel. Ia berjanji akan meneruskan tuntutan massa aksi kepada Benyamin Davnie. Namun dia menepis adanya intimidasi dalam kejadian antara Kadispora Entol Wiwi dan wartawan Kabar6.com Yudi Wibowo.

“Aspirasi ini saya tampung. Menurut saya tidak ada intimidasi dalam kejadian itu. Dianggap biasa saja,” kata Sukanta dihadapan IWO.
