Jakarta – Sekretaris Pengurus Pusat (PP) Muhammadiyah, Agung Danarto, telah mengumumkan penetapan 1 Syawal 1442 H atau hari raya Idul Fitri jatuh pada tanggal 13 Mei 2021. Hal itu berlandaskan pada hasil hisab hakiki wujudul hilal Majelis Tarjih dan Tajdid Muhammadiyah.

“PP Muhammadiyah berdasarkan metode hisab yang dipedomani Majelis Tarjih dan Tajdid bahwa hari raya Idul Fitri 1 Syawal 1442 Hijriah jatuh pada hari Kamis tanggal 13 Mei 2021,” ujar Agung melalui konferensi persnya, Senin 10 Mei 2021.

Pakar Falak Muhammadiyah, Oman Fathurrahman, menjelaskan dasar penetapan 1 Syawal tersebut berdasarkan pemantauan hilal, ijtimak, Konjungsi antara Matahari dan Bulan jelang Syawal 1442 H terjadi pada Rabu 12 Mei 2021 pukul 02.03.02 Wib.

“Pada saat matahari terbenam, kita memperoleh data tinggi bulan 5 derajat 31 menit. Artinya ketika matahari terbenam bulan masih di atas ufuk belum terbenam dengan ketinggian 5 derajat 31 menit,” ujar Oman.

Lebih jauh Oman menuturkan, jika dalam hisabhakiki wujudul hilal, bulan baru kamariah dimulai apabila telah terpenuhi tiga kriteria berikut secara kumulatif.

Pertama, telah terjadi ijtimak (konjungsi), itu terjadi sebelum matahari terbenam, sebab satu siklus satu bulan secara astronomis dari konjungsi ke konjungsi, atau ijtimak ke ijtimak.

Kedua, ijtimak itu harus terjadi sebelum terbenamnya matahari, karena pergantian bulan harus sesuai dengan pergantian hari.
