Kota Tangerang – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Tangerang yang tergabung dalam Satuan Petugas Daerah (Satgasda) Lawan Covid-19 memberikan sumbangan kantong jenazah sebanyak 300 buah. Bantuan itu diperuntukkan bagi Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Modernland Cikokol yang menjadi fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan rujukan.

Ketua DPRD Kota Tangerang, Gatot Wibowo, menyampaikan bahwa bantuan yang didatangkan itu merespon angka kematian yang cukup tinggi. Namun sejauh ini, pihaknya baru bisa memberikan kantong jenazah untuk RS rujukan saja.

“Mudah-mudahan bermanfaat karena tingkat kematian di RSUD ini cukup tinggi, kalau tidak salah kemarin itu sampai 30 orang. Untuk sementara kita berikan di RSUD Kota Tangerang dan tidak menutup kemungkinan nanti akan diberikan ke RS lainnya,” kata gatot, Jumat 16 Juli 2021.

Gatot menerangkan, pemberian kantong jenazah merupakan kerjasama antara DPRD Kota Tangerang dengan pimpinan DPR RI dari partai Gerindra.

“Hari ini kami menyerahkan kantong jenazah ke RSUD Kota Tangerang, ini bantuan dari Satgasda Lawan Covid-19 DPRD Kota Tangerang yang bekerja sama dengan Sufmi Dasco,” ucap Gatot.

Sementara Ketua Satgasda lawan Covid-19 Kota Tangerang, Turidi Susanto, menyebutkan bantuan yang diberikan oleh pihaknya bukan yang kali pertama.

Wakil Ketua DPRD itu mengatakan bahwa sebelumnya Satgasda Lawan Covid-19 telah memberikan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) maupun obat-obatan kepada sejumlah RS.

“Akhirnya kita berikan sumbangsih berupa kantong jenazah kepada RSUD Kota Tangerang. Insya Allah kantong jenazah ini bermanfaat,” kata Turidi.

Direktur RSUD Kota Tangerang, Dini Anggraeni, mengatakan datangnya sumbangan kantong jenazah merupakan bentuk perhatian DPRD yang bisa menjadi spirit bagi petugas pelayanan kesehatan.

“Donasi kantong jenazah yang diberikan dan perhatian ini menumbuhkan motivasi dan semangat untuk kami,” tuturnya.

Dini meneruskan, angka kematian pasien Covid-19 di RSUD Kota Tangerang memang cukup tinggi, lantaran RSUD Kota Tangerang dijadikan sebagai rumah sakit khusus penanganan Covid-19.

“Pasien di sini full Covid-19, jadi kita punya 200 lebih tempat tidur. Untuk tingkat kematian, ya cukup tinggi. Dan saya rasa semua daerah sama, Alhamdulillah di sini sudah turun 10-14, kemarin pernah tertinggi hingga 30 pasien Covid-19 meninggal dunia. Semoga Covid-19 cepat berlalu,” kata Dini.
